DESCRIPTION

Carbon Fiber Hood VS 2 Style for Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ 22-23

Hoods and Trunks are made from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks are manufactured using a two-part construction design. The top layer is composed of carbon fiber material bonded to the hood surface with high-grade epoxy resin, and finished with an ultra-clear (Poly Shield), UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss finish. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer enhancing the product?s structural integrity. The edges are smoothed by hands to insure good quality finish all around. In 2014, we further improved on this manufacturing process by introducing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which utilizes a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter than before while improving durability. We are transitioning our full spectrum of carbon parts to use the VIP process so that our customers can enjoy these improved products without incurring a huge cost increase.

All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity. Please be sure to look for the badge when purchasing. Due to the unknown nature of the intended uses of these products, hood pins are required. These products are intended for off-road use only, unless your local and state laws state otherwise.

Carbon Fiber Hood AMS Style for Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ 22-24

Introducing the AMS Style Carbon Fiber Hood for Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ 2022-2024, meticulously crafted from premium, Grade-A carbon fiber. Each component in the VIS line is constructed through a precise two-part process. The top layer of the hood is made of robust carbon fiber material, secured with high-grade epoxy resin and sealed with a Poly Shield, an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating that ensures a dazzling high gloss finish. Below, a unified, smooth underside shell is bonded to the top, reinforcing the overall structural integrity of the hood. The edges are meticulously smoothed by hand to guarantee a flawless finish.

In 2014, VIS elevated its production standards by adopting the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), a cutting-edge technique that uses a single-mold vacuum to fabricate components that are significantly lighter—by 10-20%—yet more durable than previous versions. This transition to VIP across all carbon fiber parts allows VIS to provide superior products without substantial price increases for our customers, ensuring both quality and value.

All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity. Please be sure to look for the badge when purchasing. Due to the unknown nature of the intended uses of these products, Hood Pins are required. Do not reuse the stock hood strut, Shocks, Dampers, or Spring, They may cause the hood to crack. These products are intended for off-road use only, unless your local and state laws state otherwise.
